The Reign of the Scarlet Empress have not been unopposed. Many have tried to seize the throne; among them several of the strongest and most influential of the Empress' own children. At first, the Empress' anger was great and the repercussions were dire, with several great houses wiped out to the last man. Seeing how these feuds cost the Terrestrial exalted some of its most potent bloodlines, a young chosen of serenity approach Chejop Kejak and voiced her concern about the great loss of potential.
