Freezing the Air Method

Even the very air freezes at the Gothic Lolita’s presence. This Charm suppresses all sound within its reach. Of course, this includes normal sound communication. Gothic Lolitas who know this Charm also learn sign language or the Linguistics Charm Words from the Mind. The area warded against sound extends a number of yards equal to twice the Gothic Lolita’s permanent Moe. Each extra mote of Moe invested into the Charm increases the radius of effect by a single yard, but a character cannot spend more motes of Moe to increase the area of effect than her Stealth + Moe. The ward moves with the character.

The most skilled Gothic Lolitas can accomplish the most impressive stealth techniques with nothing but the most minimal or sudden of movements. Masters of this Charm can accomplish feats such as hiding in an opponent’s shadow during combat, vanishing quietly to cover when an attacker blinks or assaulting a Magical Girl in the Seminary of Kawaii’s gym showers and easily making a stealthy escape. This powerful Charm permits the character to make a reflexive Stealth roll even if others are directly observing him.

Inconspicuous Little Girl Invisibility Method

It doesn’t need to be stated that Gothic Lolitas prefer to remain unknown. Their existence as servants of the Lords of No Fun makes them enemies of every other form of cuteness. Most of them pass up as ordinary (yet extremely beautiful) little girls. Some of them (those who enjoy a little thrill-seeking) adopt the role of Magical Girls, risking the increase of Irony for the benefits of infiltrating the Scarlet Empire. Regardless of the disguise used, this Charm is a valuable aid to all of them.

With this Charm, the Lolita perfectly conceals herself from those who foolishly consider themselves her superiors. Anyone who thinks of the character as an ordinary cute little girl or a low-rank Magical Girl, or who considers himself or herself superior to all others, simply cannot detect the Gothic Lolita. This invisibility also applies to those who consider themselves more important than or hierarchically superior to the Gothic Lolita, even if they know her true nature.

Characters affected by this Charm cannot use the help of others to spot the Gothic Lolita. Reports on the character’s presence no more register than the character’s direct visual impression. However, the Lolita is faintly registered by the senses those affected by a vague air of danger. Victims can derive some information by this feeling and the reports of others. They can even target the Gothic Lolita with these vague impressions. However, their dice pool for attacking or defending against the Gothic Lolita starts at 0, before the use of Charms. A perfect counter to invisibility (like the Bishonen Charm Penetrating Vision) overcomes this effect. This Charm conceals the last few seconds of a Gothic Lolita’s tracks.

Avoiding the Eyes of All Technique

With impeccable precision, the Lolita uses the exact motions she needs to walk past potential onlookers as they avert their gaze for any reason. Until the end of the scene, all attempt to spot the Gothic Lolita increase their difficulty by her permanent Moe. This applies only so long as the Lolita does not draw undue attention to herself and remains unnoticed. Once she is spotted by anyone, the Charm immediately ends and cannot be reactivated until the Gothic Lolita moves entirely out of sight.

Mind Blank Manipulation Style

No matter how skilled they are, Gothic Lolitas get caught form time to time. This Charm exists for such occasions, allowing the Lolita to rip the memory of an encounter from a target’s mind so that he forgets he ever saw the Loli. The Gothic Lolita’s player rolls Manipulation + Stealth against a difficulty of the target’s Moe (or highest Moe in the case of a group). If she succeeds, the target forgets the events of the last scene (or the last five minutes, whichever is shorter). Additionally, the befuddled target(s) will be compelled to ignore the Lolita’s presence whenever she is not joined in battle for the remainder of the scene. This compulsion can be resisted by the expense of four points of temporary Willpower, which drops to one point if someone calls the target’s attention to the Gothic Lolita. This Charm has no effect on beings with a higher permanent Moe than the Gothic Lolita or against beings that are physically agitated (for example, those in combat).

Principle of Subjective Existence Prana

Some philosophers state that our existence is defined by the acknowledgement of others. In other words, we exist because others recognize our existence. Gothic Lolitas apply this principle, concluding that she will not exist to a person if there’s no certainty of her existence in that person’s mind. The Gothic Lolita’s player rolls DexterityTheKawaiiEdition/Manipulation (whichever she prefers) + Stealth, adding a number of automatic successes equal to her Moe. This stealth veils the Lolita’s existence in others’ memories. The first time in each day that someone attempts to remember an event involving the character or attempts to recognize the character, that person’s player must reflexively roll Wits + Lore and achieve more successes than did the Lolita’s player. If he fails, the character does not remember or recognize the character: in his memories of past interactions with the character, the character is either a nameless, unremembered figure or simply not present at all. The Charm’s effect ends when the Lolita ceases committing Moe to it.

Reality Revision: Massive Memory Removal Technique

This Charm duplicates the effects and rules of Mind Blank Manipulation Technique, with the following exceptions:

• Its effects extend to a number of witnesses equal to the Lolita’s Moe * 100 without requiring motes for each observer.
• Each additional success beyond the roll’s difficulty adds one scene (or a period of five minutes, whichever is shorter) to the amount of time removed from the targets’ memories and the time the Lolita remains unnoticed after the application of this Charm.

Phantom's Minuet

Just like a ghost’s voice cannot be heard, a Gothic Lolita with this Charm makes no sound whatsoever. She can jump, run, stomp or shout in perfect eerie silence. Consequently, though, she cannot speak and use any magic that relies on sound (namely, most Speech Charms). This Charm only wards against sounds made by the character, however. Her blade might slash soundlessly through a Bishonen’s ribs, but the Charm would not muffle the many curses and girly cries of the aforementioned Bishonen as he dies in unimaginable pain at the hands of the Loli.

Deny the Deathbed Monologue Technique

The Gothic Lolita focuses on a single victim within line of sight and smothers his voice with Moe. The target is overwhelmed with mental images of incredible cuteness. If the Lolita spent a single mote, the target cannot speak or make any other vocalized noise that turn. If the Lolita spends four motes, she rolls Charisma + Stealth against the target’s Willpower + Conviction. If the Lolita succeeds, the target not only loses his voice, but also loses his action for the turn. This Charm has no effect on beings with a higher permanent Moe than the Gothic Lolita.

Extended Stealth Insight of the Lolita

This Charm permanently enhances the Gothic Lolita’s abilities, changing the duration of the Charm Stealth Insight of the Lolita from “Instant” to (Stealth) minutes.

Invisible Lolita Style

The Gothic Lolita vanishes from thin air, becoming a thing of mists and shadows. For a number of turns equal to half the number of motes invested, the Exalt is visible as nothing more than a wavering in the air. Ranged attacks against her are impossible without magical aid or absurdly awesome stunts, while close range attacks suffer a difficulty penalty of the Lolita’s permanent Moe.
