Tears (Simple)
The Iron Phoenix cries into his hands, and flings the tears, charging them with pain and grief. When he activates this Charm, he makes one attack with these tears. For the remainder of the scene, he can always pay 1 mote to perform an attack with the Tears. The Tears have +2 Accuracy, +4L Damage, and a Range of 400 yards. Those wounded by the Tears have the grief and broken hope of their own memories thrust upon them, and suffer a wound penalty equal to their Conviction, as they see how clinging to their upright beliefs brought suffering to those they cared about most. This Charm can be placed in a Combo as though its duration were Instant. If, through the use of an Extra Actions Charm, it is invoked multiple times in a turn, it costs the normal cost to activate for the first attack, and 1 mote for each additional activation.
This Charm cannot coexist with the Blood of the Bride.
Iron Phoenix Bereft
All people are the same in loss. Torn from his Bride, the Iron Phoenix imposes this aloneness on others. The air around him fills with the scent of old lilies, and a troubled look crackles on his brow. Each turn he may choose as many partners in grief as his Martial Arts + Essence; these people cannot benefit from the Charms of other Exalted, and their weapons seem to die in their hands. He must be able to see each target. Whenever a target attempts an action with a mortal weapon or other mortal tool, it turns to dry, lily-smelling soil in his hands, destroying it utterly. Mystical weaponry cannot be destroyed by this effect, but it can be disabled; when someone attempts an action using a mystical tool, his player must roll as many dice as its Artifact rating. If the roll fails, then the Essence instantly drains out of the device, and it falls half-buried into the earth. This destabilizes its attunement, but does not break it. It takes a Strength+Athletics roll at a difficulty of the Artifact's rating to remove it from the earth, and the item does not function until Essence is forced back into it to restabilize the bond between Exalt and item. This is a dice action that requires no roll and costs motes of Essence equal to half those required to attune the object, rounding up. These motes are not committed.
This Charm cannot coexist with the Heart of Iron Phoenix Form.

Blood (Simple)
The Bride touches an open wound and slashes at the air; five claws formed of pain and frustration lash through it. When she activates this Charm, she makes one attack with these claws. For the remainder of the scene, she can always pay 1 mote to perform an attack with the Blood. The blood lashes have +2 Accuracy, +4L Damage, and a Range of 100 yards. In addition, the Bride does not suffer from wound penalties to her attack pool with this Charm, and addds her Limit to the damage of the blood lashes if she is a Solar or Lunar. If it is invoked when the Bride is suffering no wounds, she does not first cover her hand in blood, and in place of five bloody claws, the air is rent by a translucent ripple of fury. This Charm can be placed in a Combo as though its duration were Instant. If, through the use of an Extra Actions Charm, it is invoked multiple times in a turn, it costs the normal cost to activate for the first attack, and 1 mote for each additional activation.
This Charm cannot coexist with the Tears of Iron Phoenix.
The Bride Betrayed
Once betrayed, the Bride trusts no one. Suffering the infidelity of the Phoenix, the Bride turns her distrust into power. Under the auspices of this Charm, the Bride resists being surprised; she can always roll her Essence at standard difficulty to become aware of an attack. This applies even to attacks of which the target normally cannot be aware. Applying her distrust to herself, she knows what others expect of her. She may, when performing a Martial Arts attack, spend one mote and roll her Perception + Martial Arts at a difficulty of the target's Essence. If she succeeds, the target is surprised by the attack. What's more, she learns to draw strength from others' pain. Whenever she makes a Martial Arts attack, she adds the target's wound penalty to her attack pool. This is explicitly a bonus derived from Charms and bonus caps take it into account.
This Charm cannot coexist with the Bride of Iron Phoenix Form.

Heart of Iron Phoenix Form
With this Form, Iron Phoenix and his Bride become perfectly conjoined in spirit and action. While they are locked in this harmony, they may use the highest of one another's Traits for all actions. Spiritually, they are one transcendent, composite entity; they add their Virtue scores together and use the totals for the duration of the Charm (this explicitly permits additional Virtue-channelling and expands the Essence pools of both users), and may share Health Levels and Essence as though they had partaken in a Lover's Oath. They both benefit from the effects of any Hearthstones that either is attuned to.
Finally, the Iron Phoenix can launch a counterattack at his full unarmed attack pool against any attack made against him or the Bride. This counterattack is resolved before the provoking attack roll, and, like Solar Counterattack, cannot be used to respond to another counter. He adds his Compassion in dice to counterattacks made against attacks targeting the Bride. As an additional effect, the Iron Phoenix's counterattacks are supernally efficacious in warding away attack; for each attack success on one of his counters, subtract a die from the provoking attack pool. When making counterattacks at ranged attackers, the Iron Phoenix may create Essence weaponry as per the Tears of Iron Phoenix or the Blood of the Bride at no cost.
Bride of Iron Phoenix Form
With this Form, the Bride and Phoenix become perfect extensions of one another's will and Essence. The Bride may use one of her actions to cause the Iron Phoenix to act instead, using his own Traits, and vice-versa. Non-Instant Charms that either member of the pair benefits from affect the other, as well, and either individual can activate the other's Charms as though they knew them and had the Trait prerequisites. In effect, the pair is a single entity that has access to two independent actions a turn, with the exception that these actions are compatible with Extra Actions effects.
In addition, the Bride of Iron Phoenix wracks attackers with guilt. Whenever they attack her or the Iron Phoenix, their spirits are drained of confidence and power. Anyone attacking the Bride loses motes of Essence equal to her unmodified Temperance in the process of doing so. If the attacker has no Essence, or some effect prevents it from being drained, he loses a point of Willpower instead. Anyone attacking the Iron Phoenix suffers a similar effect, but loses motes equal to his Essence + unmodified Temperance or 2 WP instead.
Charms of the Heart of Iron Phoenix Style may coexist with Charms of the Bride of Iron Phoenix Style while under the auspices of the Bride of Iron Phoenix Form, superseding any limitation on the Charms themselves.
