Drong have a coat of long hair in a wide variety of colors, and hangs in a distinctive "fringe." They live in herds of 10-200 in high altitude grasslands and only move into lower elevations if food is unavailable due to snow cover, namely in the North. Like water buffalo and guars these animals have been domesticated and are used for diary, meat and draught.
