The cheetah is a lean lightly built cat. Its coat is yellow with solid spots, stripped tail and a white belly. They are solitary chase hunters accelerating rapidly and running down thier chosen prey, mainly small deer and antelope. Cheetahs prefer wide open grasslands and live mainly in the East and Southeast.
