This is an arboreal snake living the the South and West, with a slender head and body with large gold eyes with circular pupils. Coloration is a bright green for males and light brown for females. These snakes have small fangs in the back of the mouth requiring the snake to hold onto its prey while biting to deliver the venom. The venom is deadly to humans but envenomation is rare due to fangs being in the back of the jaw.
