The Dark Siren Exalts!

Greetings -- I am the Dark Siren Sally, new to Exalted and fairly new to Wikidom. :D Some know me better as Mieu, or Mieu Sedai, mostly those I communicate with through IRC.

I created this page mainly to showcase some of the Exalted characters I have designed for various campaigns and for my own amusement, because I've slowly but surely fallen in love with the setting and all its complexity, and love to write about it. Because I am a person who thrives on character interaction, dramatic scenes and the (okay, more than occasional) emotional moment, my writing tends to reflect those preferences.

My favorite Exalt type is Dragon-Blooded. Trying to get myself to make other types, though. I also tend to draw my Exalted character ideas from existing ones I've played in other settings. Sometimes the conversion works well, sometimes not.

Stuff I (wanna) ST

Belladonna & Blackbird aka Creationgame - Co-run by myself and Kazuki. Basically, a "Creation Fixers" concept, plus a way of showcasing my (our?) own interpretation of Exalted canon. A mixed-Exalt game concept, but intended to be Celestial-level, with high bps and use of Sol Invictus rules.

Black Calyx Salvation - Small Celestials game I am making so my sis can learn Exalted (Ex1, unfortunately. Gah, I don't even get 2 yet.) A former priestess of Vesperna has been corrupted into an Abyssal Exalted, and an unusual group have been contracted to stop her and her undead hordes. But where does Black Calyx's salvation lie: in destruction, or in redemption?

Ember Days aka Realmgame - Kicks off in Realm Year 768, in the month of Descending Fire. The PC's meet at a wedding gala a year after their graduation from their respective secondary schools. Deep-rooted rivalries burning amidst the partygoers leads to the death of an important figure at the event. The intrepid PCs will find themselves in a position to choose a side, or none at all, as suspicions rise and the stakes are raised.

Heavenly Wonders! aka Heavengame aka "Sidereal Office Space" - A colorful glimpse into "a day in the life" in Yu Shan that will branch off into more serious things over time. Possibly excursions into Creation. Or office drama in the Bureau of Destiny. Who knows. ^_^ Anyway, this game isn't meant to be that serious in nature. But it may turn out to be!

Hurm. If I have a game in every other part of the Exalted world, does that mean I need an Underworldgame too? o.O

Characters I made!

Solarz

Ryshassa Krauser - A Twilight Solar healer and empath with high resistance to pain and injury. She is a gentle, self-sacrificing soul deeply in love with her Sidereal caretaker and husband, Alexsei. (Created for GoldenCat's OpenRPG Exalted campaign, A Dance of Angels.)

Sakajima Asami - An ex-priestess of Vesperna, a goddess of purity and healing once subordinate to the Unconquered Sun. She was a naughty girl, losing her virginity and thus the goddess's favor, but Exalted as a Solar of the Zenith Caste. (Created for Tiarynn's so-called child-of-cultgame -- which doesn't really have a cult! I swear!)

Nerissa Sensha - Blacksmith and warrior, former captain of the Horizon Breaker, a First Age Light Warship. Exalted to the Dawn Caste, avenging her lover and crewmates killed by a Raksha Noble of the West. (Revived for StarHawk's campaign of First Age Solars held in stasis until the Age of Sorrows, found on RPoL.)

Dragon-Blooded

V'neef Jadira - A Wood Aspect, explorer at heart, bow-wielding ranger with nature-themed sorcery spells. Bright and cheerful, kind and caring to her friends, but ready and willing to oust her enemies by any means possible! (Created for Kraken's *takes deep breath* Grand All-Creation Cross-Direction Quest.)

Peleps Nalin Tokumi - 14 year old Dynast haunted by a dark secret, skilled in investigation, thrown weapons and stealth, currently unExalted. (Created for FiatVictrix's primary school DB campaign, Under Pressure. I'm still holding onto hope it'll run "soon"! :O)

Blaine Gerard - An Air-Aspected genderbending spearknight serving as bodyguard to a lovely Twilight crafter of exceptional skill. Genderbending because this handsome silver-head with a HAT (yay hats!) is in actuality a woman pretending to be a man! (Created for JDuel100's Solars game.)

Sesus Alon Sanahra - Fire-dancing sorceress who relishes the center of attention. Wears her beloved familiar, Aerybis the Flame Crane, draped over her shoulders like an exotic, sentient accessory, plucking fiery feathers from his wings to throw. Yes, she's very FIERY! ^_^ (Created for ...MY game, Ember Days! o.o)

God-Blooded

Melantha - Fae-Blooded courtesan/assassin with multiple personalities and a weighty obligation to her mother, Lady Crystal, once the loyal beloved of Master Sabati, Tower Artificier and Shaper of Worlds! An odd variant on the Dark Siren theme. (Created for Greymane's Of Fire and Iron.)

Planned / Unfinished Characters (whenever I'm unlazy)

Cynis Atmadja - Atmadja is Ryshassa's hot-blooded, willful younger sister, Exalted as a Fire Aspect Dragon-Blooded. Atma recently graduated from the House of Bells and has since joined the Wyld Hunt, in the hopes of locating Ryshy and the sinister man who stole her away from the Realm a decade ago.

Merciful Singer of Dirges - Midnight Caste mercykiller who grants children sweet, merciful deaths and eviscerates those who would abuse them with her bare hands. She plays a harp of bone and soulsteel with strings of congealed blood fed from her own veins... or that of her worst victims.

Mellauna, the Steel Songbird - Bardess and fencer, diplomat and peacemaker, wields blade and instrument with equal skill and finesse. Originally conceived as a Fire Dragon-Blooded of House Sesus, now (most likely) a Sidereal of Serenity. Based on a DragonRealms bardess of the same name.

Talliska Wildclaw - Jaguar-totem Lunar (of undecided caste) from a tribe of great-cat-based Lunars, based on my Prydaen Ranger from DragonRealms. Mainly a meleeist/brawler with archery skill, if I build her close to her original form.

Cyria - Currently untitled, 'cause making Abyssal titles is hard, but she's a Dusk Caste in service to a non-canon Deathlord. They will be heavily inspired by Iria, the Killer Doll, and her liege, Mad Monarch Dryst of Iscalio, from Brigandine (a Playstation 1 strategy RPG).

Gateway Rules - Modified from Michael Sullivan's Gateway rules, these are Gateway rules I wrote specifically for Ember Days, but may be used in other games as well.

On IRC, I used to frequent the wikichannel, #wod, as Mieu... well, "frequent" prolly isn't the word. More like "lurk". But I'm mostly on #unshaped, the channel-formerly-known-as-#tower and is no longer admined by me. :o Oddly enough #tower does still exist, but for different reasons. Thinking about this makes my brain HURT. :D

• DarkheartOne - Snagged him from #wod into what is now #unshaped! I think he's even more fae-obsessed than Rin. He's also a happy PERV. XD
• FiatVictrix - He who plays Infuriatingly Interesting Characters. And runs occasional gamage. I link him here JUST because he says his wikipage is nothingness. HAH!
• GoldenCat - aka Colapso! ST with a flair for the dramatic and a taste for epic battles. He runs ADoA. That alone is an amazing feat.
• Greymane - Awesomely creative guy, both as player and ST, who is surprisingly bashful about his creativity at times. We're both notoriously wordy at times, and perfectionistic about our work, so I can really sympathize. ^^;
• JDuel100 - Otherwise known as simply J. His relative quiet-ness makes him a bit of an enigma to me. He plays funky fae and stuff!
• Kazuki - My husband and chief collaborator! Player of Sidereals, mentor-types and dark protectors alike! Including my #1 hawt bishie priest/scholar with glasses, Alexsei. *fangirl swoon!* He needs more appreciation! I mean... my husband. But hey, wouldn't hurt if Alexsei got some too. XD
• Kraken - My favorite skwid! Seriously, one of the nicest guys I know, and I <3 to RP with him. Patient with my occasional moodiness and stupid Exalted questions.
• Morrigu - Stole her from #wod, too, originally. Known to be opinionated but has a sensitive, sympathetic heart. Plays her share of demongirls, priestesses, and the occasional RAWR I SMASH.
• Raccoon - This sneaky 'coon was one of the very first regulars of my olde channel back in its inception. Now he's into Exalted and ALL MY FAULT! I'm so proud.
• Seiraryu - Manu, aka Crow, aka all sortsa other names. He makes fun and entertaining chara concepts, (co-)runs some very cool games, and gives me lotsa bishie pics. YAY! XD
• Selina - The Dark Angel, a friend of mine for many years (since my Breath of Fire fandom days)! Aren't many people I have more respect for. <3
• SlipNine - aka Rin, our resident eccentric with the dry wit. But he's quite nice and humble, and I know his weakness! Mwahahah. *stalks him*
