The Guide to Writing Artifacts for Stupid People

No, this isn't about writing Artifacts for use by stupid people. It's a down, dirty, disgusing and hateful system for creating Artifacts if you're just flat bad at it. I do not use the system that I will construct and demonstrate here. I will never use it for anything but examples in here. I hate it. I'm writing it half as a huge example of what not to ever do. But some people may actually like it. Someone might use it! I hope not. I'd rather people used my OTHER Artifact Creation Guidelines. They're nice and happy. This is the evil cheating way of hideousness. So, ya know, be aware of that.

Artifact Points by Level

Each dot in the Artifact Background that an item costs provides a certain number of points which may be distrubted amongst things like stats for weapons and armor or abilities. Artifacts don't have to use all their alloted points, but it's generally a good idea to do so.

  • Level 1 - 50 points
  • Level 2 - 100 points
  • Level 3 - 200 points
  • Level 4 - 500 points
  • Level 5 - 1000 points

    • Other - Special, as defined by ST and Player.
