Abyssal Archery Charms

Sowing the Dragon's Teeth
Cost: 7 motes, 1 Willpower
Duration: Essence in turns
Type: Simple
Min. Archery: 5
Min. Essence: 4
Prereqs: Twisting Spiteful Shaft, Relic Arrow Method

It is said that there was a dragon whose teeth gave birth to an entire army, and one charm remembers that tale. This charm acts much like Twisting Spiteful Shaft, except that until the arrow is removed, instead of burrowing deeper, it gives birth to new missles formed of the victim's own bone.. Treat these as the same kind of arrow as the one in the victim. The victim takes their strength plus the arrow's damage modifier in dice, soaked only by charms and natural soak. Then a target of the Abyssal's choice is attacked with the Abyssal's full dice pool. The secondary target receives both their own armor and the victim's armor as a soak bonus. The arrow does the same damage to the second target, except that attack successes add to the damage as normal.

Devouring Oblivion Assassin's Shot
Cost: 5+ motes, 1 Willpower
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Min. Archery: 5
Min. Essence: 3
Prereqs: Piercing Ghost Barb

The Abyssal draws a bolt of pure dark non-existance across his bow. It does damage as an arrow of the Exalt's choice, with every mote spent adding another two lethal damage. They can spend a number of extra motes equal to their Essence. Should the shot kill it's target, the victim of this attack vanishes body and soul into the Void, leaving naught but objects made of the Five Magical Materials. The arrow has a range of 100 x Permanent Essence and does not suffer penalties for wind or range. It also may strike both material and immaterial targets. There have been more than a few disappearances explained away to the Fair Folk, that were this Charm in use.

Comments

Adjusted after rereading one of the lesser charm and seeing how it also destroyed the body. Anyway, just lowered the cost and Essence requirement, and a bit of wording. - haren
