As to Ashes' comment, I note that it's very difficult to provide this trust, as most new people to the wiki violate BestPractices in their first few edits. Sure, Ashes may be the exception, but other than quality formatting so far, I haven't seen anything to warrant that trust. I'm not saying Ashes doesn't deserve it (nor am I trying to be a pain) but for once, I'm agreeing with Telgar, and trying to defend his comments. -- GreenLantern

Getting defensive about it doesn't convince existing users that everything's good, it makes it look like it isn't (even when this is not, in fact, the case). Based on the amount of information you had posted, it was very reasonable to assume that this was a single-person houserule project, and thus should go under a personal subpage. Instead of explaining why it was not, you simply said "Trust me", which without a backup argument isn't always a great approach. And unilaterally deleting a discussion in which both sides have already had multiple proponents doesn't make the debate go away; it just convinces the other side that you're not on the level.
