It remains lost to history as to the exact cause of the phenomena which surround Jillian's island. Whenever any ship passes too close to Jillian's island, the clear skies are suddenly wracked with rain and wind and massive currents which pull the ship to crash upon the shores of Jillian's Island. Jillian herself was shipwrecked there during the last years of the Harem Age as a young Catgirl. Since then, she has survived, ruling this island and all who wreck there. She is ancient and powerful and trapped, as even [[/Hobbes|Calvina Hobbes]] does not dare the waters to try to rescue her.

The island is said to be littered with relics and the tombs of ancient beings of power. It's also said to be haunted by ancient evils locked away by the Not Fun At All, that this is a prison they built for creatures they could imprison, but not destroy.

And some wonder how anything is known of what is on the island if no one ever escapes...
