The solars are above lies and deceit, but sometimes they must rely on them. Why not, therefore, declare them truth? The solar tells a lie, and gains an intimacy to that lie; the lie becomes perfect. They truly believe the lie, causing both mundane and magical lie detection to be meaningless. The solar does not believe themselves to be lying, so who could say they are?

The solar believes that their lie is true, and will behave as such for the duration of the scene; if they spend a willpower, they may understand that they have lied for the duration of the scene without abandoning the intimacy. If the solar releases the commitment, the intimacy is lost; a successful perception + investigation roll at a difficulty of the character's temperance will allow others to notice that they have abandoned something they believe in.

If opposed by a perfect lie detection charm, add essence extra successes. Even if the lie detection charm is successful, it will reveal only that the solar told a half-truth.
