Zuratha once knew what he was, the bastion of creation, the strong skeleton of the world. But even then, Zuratha was confused as to his purpose. He guarded creation, but why? For what? Allai was the only soul of his who understood what Creation was, a cradle for consciousness, and that consciousness had to be respected and treated well until it too became great; as Zuratha was full of wisdom, so should be the lesser things. His role was a servitor to man, first and foremost, and although other souls of the yozi mocked him for this, they respected deeply how well he fulfilled his essence. Before the primordial war, he would appear to any human who truly needed him, and even in the first age he was summoned frequently as he would unerringly and unquestioningly help a sorcerer to the best of his great abilities. The only danger in him was that one could, without even noticing, become so reliant on him that one ceased to do anything at all, ceased to act, ceased to even breathe, and so through his aid, he brought the mortals closer to the new meaning of Zuratha. This is his great gift, and his great purpose.
