Tetsuya looks like he's in his early twenties, though with his clean shaven face, he could be mistaken for even younger. His short spiky hair is stark white and is often partially covered by a red scarf tied as either a headband or a bandana. He's about an inch or two short of six feet and about average weight - a closer look would reveal a well trained, deceptively muscular body, but most make the mistake of underestimating his capacity.<br />

His skin is lightly tanned - almost pale for being a southerner. His grey eyes and sometimes crooked smile give an impression that he is finding humour where perhaps others can't. He usually wears a dark thin cotton coat, pants in the same color and material, and an off-white sleeveless shirt that seem to hide a piece of armor protecting his chest area. In his belt he carries an ornated curved dagger, and he's frequently seen with a backpack slung over his shoulder. He seems remarkably carefree for someone with a death sentence effectively hanging over his head.<br />
