This Arcanoi allows the ghost to speak into a target's mind. They may do this without a roll. The target knows that they are recieving a supernatural form of communication, but will not know the source. The ghost's voice of course need not sound like their normal voice. Some prefer to make it seem that their words are hidden in the ambient soundscape around the target, so that they perhaps hear other people's words with a certain emphasis, or the wind "makes sounds strangely like words."

This is not the primary use of this particular art though. With a successful Manipulation + Presence roll (difficulty of the target's Essence), they may place a thought into the surface of the target's mind in such a way that it seems as if they thought of it on their own. The length of the idea grows with additional successes, with 1 granting a simple sentence. This does not force the target to act on the thought, just places it there for them to think on (and most will consider it as long as it seems reasonable.) The ghost may spend an additional willpower to extend this art for another scene. The target must be awake and alive for this art to be used on them.

The ghost has learned to implant things more subtle than thought, and more difficult to resist in their own way. With a successful Manipulation + Medicine roll (difficulty of the target's Essence), they can cause different states in the target. With a single success, they can cause drowsiness or mild distraction as the target finds their focus hard to keep. With three, they can cause sudden pain (or allow the target to ignore some pain). The state lasts for an indefinate time until dealt with in some manner.
