When I first saw Alchemicals in the Time of Tumult book, I imagined them as mechanical reflections of Lunars, somewhat like how Abyssals are dread reflections of Solars. You know, Darkness vs. Light and Inorganic vs. Organic. And then, Exalted: the Autochthonians came out. An extremely awesome book, with extremely awesome stories and extremely awesome characters. Only Autochthon would and could. But his Exalts are made from scratch... Maybe... Perhaps, the eight heroes of Autochthonia are &quot;True Alchemicals&quot; that are true amalgamation of life and machine.
