Courtier in the court of the Moon Princess. Famed Duelist and pretty boy, quite<br />
undeniably attractive and a bit of a ladies man.<br />
<br />
His exaltation came as he was presented a gift by the Moon Princess' astrologer.<br />
This gift was a slashing sword of undeniable beauty, crafted entirely of<br />
Orichalcum and strengthened with Essence. When asked what he had done to deserve<br />
such a gift, he was told it was not what he had done, but what he would do next<br />
that had earned him this sword. At that moment, two things happened. The sun<br />
swept over the gardens, bathing him in light, and reflecting from his caste<br />
mark and the Dragon-Blooded Satrap standing nearby raised his sword to strike<br />
down the astrologer.<br />

The astrologer didn't move, except to smile as blades crossed above his head.<br />
<br />
The fight was against the new Solar until he fought his way back to the<br />
battlements. A strike to the heart of the satrap, a push back and a drop left<br />
him on his favourite horse, riding into the distance.<br />

A few months later, he was slumming in the city of Difaris, when the astrologer<br />
approached him again. "There is a place for you, wanderer, the<br />
[[Somori/CourtOfStars|Court of Stars]] needs your wits and your blade to defend<br />
it."<br />

== Description and Personality ==<br />
<br />
Soaring Hawk is a very flamboyant man, driven to heights of excellence, on the<br />
field of battle, in the battles of the courtroom, and in the beds of the ladies<br />
of the courts.<br />
<br />
Tidy, short-cropped hair rest on a thin, slightly angled face, lightly browned<br />
by summered gardens. His thin frame moves slowly and gently while he is at rest,<br />
but whips about in economical motion when he is intent on hostile action.<br />
<br />
His voice is by turns loud and boisterous, then quiet and restrained, perfectly<br />
pitched for his audience, whether they be a lady of breeding or the other<br />
duelists among the court.<br />
