= Shapelessness: A Rethinking of God-Monster Style =

This is mainly an exercise for myself to imagine (and create) the 'truer' version of God-Monster Style. I'm probably massively off, but God-Monster strikes me as the path towards forsaking shape in order to achieve true and proper harmony with the Wyld and their true self---as unshaped terrors. I could well be dead wrong, but I'm not gonna let something like complete point-missing stop me!

== New God-Monster Body Gifts ==

;Wound-Defying Mentality: Prerequisite: Chain-Defying Art
:Toughening their inner beings, the raksha subtracts one success from all shaping damage rolls.
;Thousand-Layered Armor-Self: Prerequisite: Wound-Defying Mentality
:Growing even more inured to the shaping of others (and injury in general), the raksha subtracts two successes from shaping damage rolls, and one success from normal damage rolls. This gift supercedes its prerequisite.
;Enigma of Existance: Turning their God-Monster Body away from Creation's taint as it comes into being, the raksha becomes a thing both real and alien. While assuming their God-Monster Body, the raksha is under the effect of Mad God Mien.
;Flowing Weave of Madness: With but a thought, the weave of the Wyld obeys the raksha's will. All shaping action dicepools have their dice-splitting penalty reduced by one.
;Primordial Forming Methodology: Prerequisite: Flowing Weave of Madness
:Approaching the world-shaping might of the Primordials themselves, the raksha grows all the more adept. All shaping dicepools have their splitting penalty reduced by two. This gift supercedes its prerequisite.

Cost: 5 motes, 1 gossamer
Duration: One Story
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Ring: 4
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisites: All-Consuming God-Monster Stance

Functions otherwise as noted in Exalted: the Fair Folk page 203.

Kin-Swallowing Grace
Cost: 20 motes, 2 gossamer, 4 experience points
Duration: Permanent
Type: Reflexive
Minimum Ring: 5
Minimum Essence: 4
Prerequisites: Harmonious Primordial Spirit

With a thought, a raksha commoner bound through Harmonoius Primordial Spirit is promptly shattered spiritually, what little of their own sense and self and volition that remained turning to dust and Essence. The being's Heart detonates, but their Graces remain intact, sustained by their controller's glory--they are subsidiary parts of their master's being, completely at his disposal.

The 'liberated' raksha may be harmed physically or injured via shaping combat, but they cannot be properly killed without spirit-killing charms or suffer the effects of spiritual defeat; before their master gains Hatchling's Ascension they merely break and are repaired as a 3-dot artifact, but afterwards they simply slip into a sort of torpor and will eventually revive on their own. If brought into Creation, they do not wither so long as their master has a personal means to avoid the withering effect (a Cyst, a Hearthstone or other means).

Planting Wyld Seeds
Cost: 1 mote, 1 Willpower, 1 gossamer, 1 experience point
Duration: Instant
Type: Simple
Minimum Ring: 5
Minimum Essence: 3
Prerequisites: All-Consuming God-Monster Stance

Driving a dagger of gossamer and esctasy into his pattern, the raksha severs the connection between one of his physical Graces and that Grace's might. The physical representation is utterly destroyed, no matter where it lay and who owns it, but the cohesive spiritual manifestation of the raksha's Grace remains intact, freed partially from its confinement as it links to the raksha's Heart Grace, breaking any attunement that was previously in place..

Use of this Charm grants the Raksha's God-Body the 'Graces of the Wyld' gift, or adds another if the raksha already possesses this gift. Until the raksha achieves Blood of Clay, that grace may still be injured normally through shaping combat. In order to possess and attune to it, however, an attacking raksha must take the raksha's Heart and pay the combined attunement costs for all freed Graces linked to it.

Prerequisites: Planting Wyld Seeds, Forging the (Grace) Grace [All]

Altering the very nature of their Graces and how they interact with the shaping damage of others, the raksha takes one step closer to the threshold of shapelessness. Until the end of time or their beings, the raksha no longer suffer spiritual damage when defeated in shaping. Instead, their altered Graces gush forth from within, the torrent of power grasping into the Wyld around them and producing an item of power; this functions exactly as if affecting the unshaped with shaping injury. Likewise, the raksha's Staff health level track becomes twice their Conviction + Staff. Most raksha who have come this far have long since left normal raksha society, as this change makes them suddenly quite attractive to attack, even if they are powerful beings.
