== Checking In On Pheasant Bows ==

Moulting Grouse dons again the guise of this awful name, entering the village with a charming smile on his face. Aftering inquiring as to the whereabouts of Pheasant Bow and telling the Shaman that his master wishes to speak with him, Grouse goes to find the young female apprentice he was gathering herbs with earlier, to ask her about Phinon. Of course.

Pheasant Bows is in his home, working on something, when Osprey arrives. "Afternoon, brother. How have you been? We haven't hearn much from you or your people lately."

"I have been travelling across the land, further investigating the strange portents which trouble it."

He nods. "Have you discovered anything of note?"

Osprey sits down cross-legged on the furs which cover the floor. "It seems that each new discovery only brings the situation further into shadow. Have your own divinations yielded fruit?"

"Yes. The signs bode...interesting things for your Phion. There are dark fates and bright woven into the flames. It worries me."

Osprey nods sagely. "Then you see the wisdom of keeping him under close watch."

"I do. Though it is very late to begin it, I will consider your recomendation of taking on his apprentice - or recommend to the clan elders that you do."

Osprey nods. "As an itinerant, I do not have the resources to look after many apprentices at once; my home is many leagues from this place. But I feel this matter is important enough that I will shoulder the burden, if you decide it is too much for you."

"Of course. Then I will begin preparations for the task myself. We will see about his future when we come to it."
