Andry was originally created for a Dragon-Blooded game run by IsawaBrian; he's the first Exalted character I ever actually played. He . . . also requires some fine-tuning if I ever attempt to play him again; this was before I learned how to twink properly in Exalted, so my dice pools were wimpy compared to everyone else's, except in Sorcery which I didn't use very much before the game ended. Still, for posterity's sake . . .

In summary: Andante is a good little Conviction-heavy Air-blooded Dynast who was indoctrinated by his Sidereal mentor at the Heptagram and his Nightmares Flaw into pathological terror of Anathema. He's also best friends with V'neef's grandson (one of the other PCs, with Legendary Breeding), and happily political when not plotting ways to annihilate anything resembling Anathema before it can break the Realm. Somewhere along the way, he had a blackout in which his hand vanished. Now he has a blue jade hand of scary Death of Obsidian Butterflies doom. Yay!

* This is a rewrite of Andry from scratch; it is also Not Yet Finished, as I still need to pick another artifact and another Hearthstone, and generally fine-tune (and add in expanded notes on stuff). Recommendations welcome, particularly with respect to his Charms and spells.
* For some reason, he's being inclined toward martial arts in this round of chargen. [bemused] I'm not sure it's worth trying to make him actually combat-capable or if I should leave it as flavor, though; on the one hand, sorcery is frankly not that useful in most kinds of combat, and I hate playing a combat-useless character, but on the other hand, it's that many fewer points and Charm slots I can put toward sorcery or social skills. Hm. How effective is the "generic" DB martial art? Because if I could get him an Immaculate style I'd do it in a heartbeat -- it's utterly Andry -- but I'm not so sure about the generic version.
** (And yes, I have justification for it: he was and is too physically weak to be very good at Brawl or Melee or any Archery beyond, like, fowling, but the formality and meditative aspects of Martial Arts appealed, and he's got Immaculate connections which might've been honed via martial arts training.)

 In summary: Andante is a good little Conviction-heavy Air-blooded Dynast who was indoctrinated by his Sidereal mentor at the Heptagram and his Nightmares Flaw into pathological terror of Anathema. He's also best friends with V'neef's grandson (one of the other PCs, with Legendary Breeding), and happily political when not plotting ways to annihilate anything resembling Anathema before it can break the Realm. Somewhere along the way, he had a blackout in which his hand vanished. Now he has a blue jade hand of scary Death of Obsidian Butterflies doom. Yay!
