* <Crimson Mane> *Moves to persist, then he notices the stares of some of the older warriors. He moves back towards the horses.*

* <Crimson Mane> As Arrow commands

* <GM> Swift Arrow: Right.

* <GM> *Swift Arrow turns around, and the others follow him towards the market*

* <GM> You're pretty certain Swift Arrow was going to draw his bronce knife if you hadn't backed down. Something's scaring him

* <GM> As you stand in the shade with the horses, you notice all animal sounds seem dampened, and the empty streets suddenly do not seem very welcoming

+

* <GM> Swift Arrow and his crowd disappear around a corner, and you feel very alone, trapped behind the walls that seperate the city from the endless plains

+

* <GM> The horses seem nervous

+

* <GM> and the stable boy never seems to appear...

* <Crimson Mane> Boy! Calm these horses. *Dropping a dinar in his hand* I'll double that when I return

* <Crimson Mane> *Quickly, Crimson ties down the horses to the feeding post. But the labor seems to go on and on and the quiet grows deeper.*

* <Crimson Mane> *Finally, he strokes the nuzzle of the lead horses and shushes them to silence, praying that they'll be their when he returns*

* <GM> You get the horses tied and the horses shush'ed

* <Crimson Mane> *The bronze blade in it's sheath slapping his thigh, Crimson Mane rushes to catch up to Arrow and company*

* <GM> Running under the noon-day sun is hard work, but you catch up with Swift Arrow and company.

* <GM> Swift Arrow: "Didn't I tell you to �stay with the damn horses�?

+

* <Crimson Mane> Arrow forgive me, but the horses are agitated, the air is thick with silence and dread. Today is not a good day for us. I can feel it...

* <GM> *Swift Arrow looks surprised, then agry*

* <GM> Swift Arrow: Bah. You're a cowards son is your problem! I'm telling you to stay with those horses or you'll feel the flat of my blade!

* <GM> Swift Arrow: The shaman said the prospects for this trip are excellent, and I'll not listen to the likes of you or your worries

* <Crimson Mane> Very well. But so we're clear, my father fell ignoring his gut instinct. I intend to not do the same.

* <Crimson Mane> *He is visibly angry at the biserching of his father's name, but managed to rein his anger by grinding his teeth. He turns to return to the horses, admittedly unsure of how to proceed*

* <GM> *Copper Falcon turns towards Swift Arrow*

+

* <GM> Copper Falcon: I'll go with him, Arrow. If he finds bad omens, he should not be alone

+

* <GM> *Copper Falcon turns towards you again*

+

* <GM> (and smiles)

* <GM> Copper Falcon: If you'll have me, of course?

* <Crimson Mane> Of course Falcon. Forgive us Arrow. *Turning on my heels, I quickly return to the horses.*

* <GM> Copper Falcon joins you

* <Crimson Mane> *once out of earshot* I hope I'm wrong.

* <GM> Copper Falcon: Hopefully

* <GM> Copper Falcon: But Swift Arrow's a dangerous man to make your enemy. I've seen him stab good men in the back.

* <GM> You wait for a while, until the sun is no longer at Zenith, before a stable hand comes out. He has visible bruises on his face and neck, but takes the horses into the stable
