Typically, she dresses in a very long black overcoat, made of fine, treated leather, kept shut with the buckles and straps on the front during cold weather. Underneath the overcoat (Perverts) she tends to wear a white vest, made in aristocratic styling but none of the finery associated with a noble's standing, such as jewelry. Long pants that match the coat in color. The coat itself has a white trim, and contrasts highly with her own personal build, as Diamond herself is small and slender, so at times appears to disappear under her own overly bulky clothing. Her hair is a dark shade of green, usually cut short.

A stateswoman of a small kingdom in the South East, she never quite seemed to be destined for greatness. Although not an incompetent, the long hours she spent could not quite prepare the country for the coming tumultuous war with its neighbor. Despite her best efforts, they simply had more troops, and better infrastructure. After a stinging loss, and the death of her best general, Glimmering Shard threw her advisers out of her war room and locked herself inside it. She spent hours studying the various armies positions, going through all the possible scenarios in her head. After the third day, her advisers and servants had begun to believe she had committed suicide, the door slammed open, right on an unfortunate servant sent to check on her. She strode out confidently, and handed her advisers the orders for her remaining men.

Over the next few weeks, the other nation was destabilized by an invasion launched by several of the neighboring barbarian tribes. Rather then consolidate their new holdings, they began pulling their invasion force back to defend their ancestral lands. Almost like clockwork, she retook her citadels. Then, rather then gang up on her enemies.. she united with them to repel the unwashed invaders, bringing the two countries together. By the time she'd left, they were well underway with the plans to unify the two kingdoms.

Glimmering Diamond of the Zephyr Winds, as she is now known, wanders through the Southeast. She works freelance, taking temporary positions in various countries at various times. Whomever she has served under has found her fortunes rising, and she asks for relatively little, despite her growing renown. She has also seen a few attempts on her life, but so goes the price of fame.

Wisdom of the Unknown Merchant Sequestered in the Knowledge of the Ages:
Even in Form, this Marvel of Function is extraordinary (A black mark in the Age of Sorrows, to be sure). It appears to be a small, black tablet, too small to write on, with gold trim, and a screen of glass. A closer inspection reveals that it is actually made of dull black Starmetal, with Orichalcum trim, and even when inactive the screen is sleek and shiny. When activated by thought of the owner, it brings up a map of the local area that can be manipulated, and zoomed out, to a range of Essence x 1000 miles. The map is geographically accurate, but that is hardly its greatest use; The owner can will it to bring up an accurate map of the flows of trade in the same radius; It displays all transactions at Resources 2 or higher, and shows to where they are going, how much they sold for, and what route they are following on their trip. It does not say who is buying or selling them, however. Although the map will zoom in on parts of itself, it does not display things on a scale so small that one could divine the exact warehouse a particular valuable is stored in. The small tablet requires 10 motes of committed essence, and has a maintenance rating of 2. It can, if Diamond wishes it to, broadcast the image as a holograph above it. This holograph can be up to 2 feet by 3 feet, the same proportion as the screen. It is interacted with by touching either the screen, or the hologram above the screen..
