=== Character Description ===
Quilone is a large man of friendly demeanour, of middle age, whose brown hair and beard are tinged with grey. He held office in Nexus for many years as head of the Immaculate Mission there, but it was not long before his beliefs were skewed by Nexus pragmatism. He grew accustomed to the city's hectic, contradictory nature and decided to focus his efforts on aiding the truly needy, opening his Mission to those who needed physical help, not just possible convertees. With his eccentric, hedonistic occultist Echo Shatternight he kept the temple running, though it was far from a true place of Immaculate faith even when the Empress vanished. A few years later, the two of them were to encounter a thief, Gilfer, sent by a mysterious Southern man to steal one of the artifacts held by Echo - an orichalcum bracelet. The same night, Quilone discovered a hidden passage under his longtime farmhouse, leading into the earth, where he discovered a great chamber with the symbol of the Unconquered Sun in its centre and a fresque depicting a great battle at the far end, covering a set of doors. The scene came alive to his senses; he felt a familiarity with the hero at its forefront; the massive, gleaming armour in the next room looked too impressive not to try on. He brought it up with him, just as Echo arrived with distressing news, and Exalted as he placed the helm on his head, reliving visions of being a great warrior. Echo herself, by handling a strange gem, had similarly been touched; the thief Gilfer, as well, by some strange resonance with the bracelet. The three of them banded together, deciding to explore their new existences as Chosen of the Sun...

Lion Fallen to Numbers (Artifact 4) 
This majestic suit of armour was crafted during the Usurpation for Quilone's last incarnation. Built in haste, finished on the eve of a great standoff, the warrior he once was donned it with the full knowledge that this was to be his last battle. Its frame is pure orichalcum, radiating a great majesty second only to that of the Unconquered Sun himself. Because of the resilience the warrior displayed during the final struggle, his armour was named after his fall, and placed in his Manse which was sealed with negative geomantic stone.

Notes: the armour has three slots for Hearthstones. It grants the wearer increased hardiness and resilience while worn, as well as a radiant majesty, adding six dots to Presence and four to Stamina while attuned.

The Gem of Unconquered Scions (Solar Hearthstone: rating 5) 
This gem is perfectly spherical and shines as if made of pure, untarnishable orichalcum. While attuned, it grants its bearer 4 extra dice to all Melee pools.
