It is important to remember that they are not hard and fast divisions. Those in the Adamant Division may lose to those in the Sapphire or even the Emerald as the Ranking is also determined by attendence. Some amazing warriors just don't focus on the Martial Arts ciruit and hence end up ranking lower than those that do. For the most part however, an Adamant fighter will probably beat a Sapphire or at least come out on top in a tournament.
