After a thankfully uneventful night, broken only by the sounds of four nubile nymphettes having a pillow-fight in lingerie, the mismatched Circle and hangers-on pack their gear and leave the hotel just after dawn.

Once in the street, five black-armoured cavalry start to follow them. Keeping a steady distance, but making the party quite nervous none-the-less as they try to stay nonchalant and keep the giant golden bow covered. A collective sigh of relief is breathed when the menacing horsemen stop at the city gates and merely watch the party walk down the road to the docks.

Once the ''Shining Pearl'' is visible the group is somewhat surprised and curious to see a man dressed in yellow, upon a horse, in the middle of the main deck. All of a sudden the man rides his horse over the side of the yacht and disappears. Jade Wisdom's essence-enhanced vision quite clearly marks the man's motonic aura as similar to the old man in the street outside Su Chi's tomb.

Once they board the yacht, though, ony Savvy recalls the strange horseman. Scarred, Jade Wisdom and Phinnae are perplexed by her ravings of old men and horses. But her ravings jog the Jadeborn's memory enough that soon he too remembers. He joins Savvy in trying to convince the others, but with little success until Scarred discovers a yellow paper crane on the deck.

The Solar, suspecting it may be some kind of trap, hands it to the Artisan to unfold. Jade Wisdom manages to get the origami unfolded after a few minutes without damaging the paper, and discovers some excellent calligraphy in High Realm within. He reads it to the assembled Exalts.

"''Gold, Silver and Jade / floating on Gaia's Tears / Hope they can swim''"

This seems ominous.

Savvy has forgotten the yellow-clad horseman by now. Which frustrates Jade Wisdom somewhat, but Scarred, maybe prompted by the note, finally remembers. No amount of argument sways the Lunars though.

Soon thereafter, with little fanfare, the yacht leaves the docks for it's long journey to Nexus.
