Paths have focuses, just like Martial Arts. Also, magical aspects and practical aspects are similarly divided up. Certain Foci open up access to arenas of ability. Certain Foci allow for certain spells to be learned.

Alabaster College - Draw on Faith and are Holy

Onyx College - Draw on Death and are Dark

Brass College - Draw on Malfeas and are Malfean

Iron College - Draw on neutral essence.

Emerald College - Draw on Terrestrial essence.

Sapphire College - Draw on Celestial essence.

Adamant College - Draw on Solar essence.

Obsidian College - Draw on Abyssal Essence.
