Father was a normal stallion, while her mother was a local god of law; a local god run out of town by some outcaste Dragon-Bloods that wanted to make the town their own, and had the power to do so. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Being far south of Yane, but short of the Varang City-States' more common patrol routes, the small town was one that should have been  rarely policed, though Seventh Strike (the little god of law in the area) was more than protective, and powerful enough to keep the local farmer's safe and in line. He was not, however, powerful enough to stop the incoming D-B's, and was easily run out, along with what few local gods (and his son, The Gallows) refused to give in to the new Dragon-Bloods. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
To say that this left a bitter taste in the Gallows' mouth thereafter would be an understatement. When he rescued Jack Bones during the Solar's exaltation, the two found a common ground in their desire for justice, law, and revenge. They've been together since.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It should be noted that as Gallows is not capable of speech, and is not Bones' familiar, they have no special ability to communicate with one another beyond long-term familiarity and Gallows' high intelligence.&lt;br /&gt;

Artifact 1 - Saddlebags - These grey, travel-worn and dust-heavy&lt;br /&gt;
saddlebags were one of the first and only artifacts ever crafted by Jack&lt;br /&gt;
Bones; an endeavor he's only ever undertaken for the sake of his riding&lt;br /&gt;
companion. These saddlebags are well-balanced and carefully constructed&lt;br /&gt;
for the comfort and protection of it's wearer; any horse carrying them&lt;br /&gt;
gains an additional three dice on all Endurance rolls, and gains a bonus&lt;br /&gt;
2L/2B natural soak bonus.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Artifact 3 - Silk Armor - As per CB: Eclipse, save that it's sackcloth&lt;br /&gt;
as opposed to silk, and is crafted to be a protective cloth under the&lt;br /&gt;
mount's saddlebags, as opposed to, you know, clothing. Committed 6&lt;br /&gt;
motes.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Artifact 2 - Horseshoes of the Zephyr - Double the mount's movement rate&lt;br /&gt;
and jumping distance, as well as treating the horseshoes as Smashfists&lt;br /&gt;
for the horse's kick attacks. Committed 5 motes.&lt;br /&gt;
