These are the Sidereal Initiation Charms for the MartialArts/KataSystem.

There are five possible Initiation Paths for Sidereals; each Caste has its own preferred Path. They are:

* Journeys - Resistance
* Serenity - Dodge
* Battles - War
* Secrets - Lore
* Endings - Brawl

Thus, each Caste has the opportunity to learn an Initiation Style that places the purchase of Martial Arts Katas and Forms within the cost of their Caste Charms.

Lotus Bulb Discipline (Terrestrial Circle Martial Arts)
Cost: None
Duration: Permanent
Type: Special
Minimum Ability: 1
Minimum Essence: 1
Prerequisite: None
A character who learns the Lotus Bulb Discipline has begun to open his mind and body to the Ways of Essence, allowing him to learn and create Terrestrial Martial Arts Katas. In addition to this ability, the Martial Artist gains access to the following powers:

* While activating any Terrestrial Style Kata of the same Form that is currently active, the Sidereal may always channel a Virtue. The Virtue that may be channeled depends on the Ability learned, as follows:
- Resistance - Conviction
- Dodge - Compassion
- War - Valor
- Lore - Temperence
- Brawl - Any

Minimum Ability: 1
Minimum Essence: 1
Prerequisite: Lotus Bulb Discipline or First Martial Discipline
He who has achieved the Lotus Blossom Understanding has fully opened his mind and body to the Ways of Essence, and may learn and create Celestial Martial Arts Katas. Celestial Martial Arts come naturally to a Solar, who may learn and create new Celestial styles without a teacher. In addition to this ability, the Martial Artist gains access to the following powers:

* While activating any Celestial Style Kata of the same Form that is currently active, the Sidereal may always channel a Virtue. The Virtue that may be channeled depends on the Ability learned, as follows:

Prerequisite: Lotus Blossom Understanding or Second Martial Discipline
He who has mastered the ephemeral Transcendence of the Lotus Bloom has grasped the true nature of the Ways of Essence, and may learn and execute Sidereal Martial Arts Katas. Unlike Solars, which can only learn Sidereal Martial Arts if taught by a sifu, Sidereal Martial Artists may develop and learn new Martial Arts Styles on their own, and may even create entirely new Styles with sufficient practice. In addition to this ability, the Martial Artist gains access to the following powers:

* While activating a Sidereal Style Form Kata, or as a miscelleneous action while a Sidereal Form Kata is already active, a Sidereal may spend 5 motes to activate the Student Sutra, which takes the form of a prayer strip infused with Essence. This reduces the cost for activating each Kata by 5 motes, to a minimum of 0.

* While activating a Sidereal Style Form Kata, or as a miscelleneous action while a Sidereal Form Kata is already active, a Sidereal who has fully mastered the Style may spend 10 motes and 1 willpower to activate the Master's Sutra, which takes the form of a prayer strip infused with Essence. This reduces the cost for activating each Kata by 10 motes and 1 willpower, to a minimum of 0.
