When casting this spell a series of glowing grave green runes appear floating in the air around the caster's hand and launch toward the target in magically guided, undodgeable flight.  The runes are also unblockable except by weapons and effects capable of blocking spiritual energy.

When the runes strike the target they sink through its skin and into its bones begining a horriffic and painful transmutation of the bone marrow into tendrils of Flesh eating Necrotic Energy.

The spell does inital damage of one half the caster's permanent essence, rounded up, and an additional level  for every two successes the caster achieves on a willpower plus Essence roll.  This damage cannot be soaked and is Lethal to mortals and Materialized spirits but Aggravated to Fair Folk and denizens of the Wyld.  Each turn the Target takes an additional level of damage unless they make a roll of their permanent essence plus their highest virtue and get a number of successes equal to the caster's permanent essence.  As soon as one of these rolls is succeded at the damage each rouns stops.

Regardless of how much damage is done the target endures agony that causes a penalty to dice actions equal to the caster's permanent essence, these penalties persist for the scene, even if the damage is successfully ended.

Without healing of even the most minimaly supernatural nature Mortals inflicted with this spell won't last more than a month as they slowly sicken and die.
