Any animal is at its most dangerous when it is desperate, seeking that which it must have to survive. Exalted more so then any other and Lunar Exalted most of all. When something stands between a Lunar and what she needs to survive, there is little that can save it. Activating this Charm adds a number of dice equal to the Lunar's Essence + One Virtue (decided by the Storyteller) to a single roll related to obtaining a basic necessity. These needs include food, water, air, shelter, sex or coverings. Only when it is a situation defined as "need", not "want", can this Charm be used.

Enhancing his natural digestive prowess, a desperate or simply gluttonous Lunar can choke down enough food to survive for many days, even so much that it would cause him to explode if he was not using this Charm. For the duration of this Charm, the Lunar can eat as much as he wishes, devouring whole herds of cattle if he so desires. All food the Lunar ingests is processed and stored with impossibile efficiency, producing little to no waste. A Lunar who has used this Charm will not grow hungry for as many days as he ate food for, even after this Charm is allowed to dissipate. The nutrients have been stored away, ready for retrival at a moment's notice. Othern then making the Lunar appear very well fed, but never more then he would after eating a filling meal or six, this Charm has no visual effects.

Like a serpent or other carniverous reptile, the Lunar has gained enough bodily mastery to eat objects and animals many times the size of his mouth. He can stretch himself around morsels even larger then his own body and force them into his gullet. Once fully enclosed in the Lunar's body, the meal is forced down into a managable size, leaving only faint traces of its great size. A Lunar who has eaten a mammoth may have a bulging stomach with an odd trunk-like form pressed against his skin, but nothing more. It generally takes 1 turn for the Lunar to consume anything the size of his body, smaller meals can be consumed reflexivly and larger ones take an additional turn per multiple of the Lunar's mass.

It is generally considered a bad idea to eat armed opponents, but some Lunars take the risk in exchange for the fear it inspires or the thrill it gives them. Once an opponent has been clinched successfully, any clinch attempt can be replaced with this Charm. If the Lunar successfully gains control of the clinch in the turn he activated this Charm, he has managed to swallow the opponent. The digestion process inflicts the Lunar's Stamina + Essence in raw damage every turn, soaked normally. The constraints of the Lunar's body impose a penalty equal to the Lunar's Stamina on all actions taken by the ingested foe. Should the foe attempt to escape, they must inflict at least four health levels of lethal damage against the Lunar to make a large enough hole to climb out, or force the Lunar to voluntarily regurgitate them. The Lunar using this Charm can soak attacks coming from inside himself with only his natural Stamina, though it may be aided by Charms and Gifts.
