Spend 4 Will. Your eyes shine with a hypnotic pattern. Roll Finesse+Sagacity, without charms, against the base Resolve of a sighted character within Short range. If you meet or beat their Resolve, they fall in to a trance. Onlookers (or the target, if you failed) with Sagacity or Awareness higher than your roll recognize what you did.

While tranced, they have a Minor Principle (Tranced), which can always apply to reduce their Resolve against Influence. After the trance ends, they do not remember what happened during the trance, and rationalize whatever Influence they are subject to during the trance as their own thoughts. The trance ends at the end of the scene, or as soon as someone attacks or harms the entranced character.
