When someone first sees Kaori, they see child. Then they see her eyes, which sparkle like sapphires with her joy at the world. After that, some are drawn to the long, pure white hair that cascades down her back to her waist, or is held up with an elaborate arrangement of pins, as suits her mood and company, while others take note of her features. Her face is fine boned, suggestive of the most graceful of birds, and her body likewise suggests elegance and beauty above raw strength, her slight frame neverless seems to fit perfectly below her flawless and vibrant sky blue skin.

Kaori dresses herself in a thousand and one outfits, blues and whites and greys, in silks and in cotton, the only unifying factor is that they allow her freedom to move, whether it is run like the winds that chose her, dance like a delicate petal in the breeze or simply to luxuriate in the feeling of the air on her skin. The only constant to her appearance is the ring on her finger, which is of extra-ordinary beauty and is made of jade so fine it sometimes seems to be invisible, completely unadorned. Her other jewellery, all of it now cheap costume jewellery, changes with as much rapidity as her clothes, though she typically has bracelets on her wrists, glass beads entwined with blue threads.

Lucky (2) - Despite all that has happened to her, Kaori leads a relatively charmed life and sometimes it seems that every little thing just goes her way.
