Semuda Beni

Patrician of the Realm, affiliate of [[/HouseCathak | House Cathak]], aide to diplomat-general [[/CathakBoruta | Cathak Boruta]], and Anathema Deceiver. He believes that the rule of the Dragon-Blooded is best for Creation - and for his own goals - and so long as they can be secretly led and aided by Solars such as himself, they will prevail. He has some small knowledge of the Sidereals, but they have been very careful about dealing with him.

Semuda Exalted, to his benefit, during the civil war. He was bearing a critical missive from Cathak Cainan to Cathak Boruta, instructions regarding Cathak's troop dispositions. During a great storm, his skiff was nearly swamped; in surviving through superb seamanship, he Exalted. The exaltation smoothed his tongue and sharpened his wits as well, and he proved invaluable in Boruta's campaign in the south of the Blessed Isle. Boruta engaged him as a permanent aide, and Semuda has served well since then.

Semuda works in shadows and with great cunning, always with a cut-out or two when possible. Anyone in House Cathak who suspects he may be Anathema stays quiet, and none outside suspect... yet. Under Boruta's tutelage, he has learned the diplomatic arts and surpassed his teacher. Boruta is totally under his influence, but does not realize it; again, Semuda is subtle. He also has the beginnings of a spy network, wormed throughout Cathak's mortal members and gradually extending out beyond the House.

Finally, he is a master sailor, without peer in the House. This is the one thing he does not particularly hide, since such skill can seem merely mortal when cleverly disguised.
