Hroth Delgar is a tough bastard who's been through a lot in a very short time. He's a manipulative fellow who always looks out for number one, though he tries not to be a bastard. He's always got a plan, even if it's not necessarily a good one. He leads from the front and uses that to bolster the loyalty of his troops.

=== Biography ===
Born in the Hundred Kingdoms to a camp follower of one of the area's many mercenary companies, Hroth grew up in the company of warriors. After his Exaltation, he was swiftly adopted by the company, first as a young mascot and eventually as a lieutenant. After the company was massacred by a Fair Folk noble's hunting band, Hroth gathered the survivors and headed further east. By virtue of his Exalted status and his knack with people, Hroth is the leader of some twenty-five mercenaries.

=== Primary Aptitudes ===
Combat: Average. Despite his upbringing and skill in martial arts, Hroth's combat skills are not broad enough to elevate him to the ranks of the great in battle. He does have considerable potential with the right teacher, though. 
Diplomacy: Average. Hroth relies on his looks and his understanding of human psychology to see him through most social situations; he has never particularly cultivated this ability. 
Espionage: Average. Though intelligent and socially skilled, Hroth has no actual training in espionage or related arts. 
Leadership: Average. Again, Hroth relies on one-on-one interactions and the careful cultivation of loyalty. His talent for this is counterbalanced by his lack of skill at leading en masse and his unwillingness to impose organization on those he leads. 
Magic: Average. Hroth has little magical, medicinal, or crafting skill, but does have extremely good command of his Essence.

Loyalty Estimate: Average. As long as the Circle is doing well, Hroth will be loyal. He'll probably stay loyal even if the Circle encounters a few reverses, but if things start looking very bad, Hroth will have his escape routes planned.
