While many Solars choose to act openly, striding across the battlefield like the giants they are, sometimes strategy calls for hidden death rather than unconcealed brilliance. When doing so, it is best to make every attack count, for an ambush can occur only once. When a Solar who has developed this Charm uses an Extra Action charm such as Thousand Icicles Fall, Wind Full of Knives, or Reaping the Bloody Wheat from ambush, the character may opt to spend an additional 3 motes when activating the Charm and add the character’s Essence to the damage done by each attack.

Prerequisite Charms: Observer-Deceiving Attack
The radiant Essence of the Solar infuses her hurled missile. The energy causes glimmering illusions of heat-born and light-dazzled mirage that stupefy the mind. When activating Observer-Deceiving Attack, the character may spend 2 mote, 1 willpower to add the Illusion keyword to the attack; this Illusion makes the directional confusion of Observer-Deceiving Attack so perfect that no observer has the opportunity to roll to notice that the Solar made the attack.

Prerequisite Charms: Mist on Water Attack
Like an unexpected fog hiding danger, the Solar blankets the threat of his attacks completely. This Charm enhances its prerequisite. The character need no longer pay for each action past the first. The cost of Mist on Water Attack becomes 3 or 6's, where 3 will cover the initial attack and 6 will cover any number of actions up to the Solar's permanent Essence.

Prerequisite Charms: Falling Icicle Strike
The deadly accuracy of a Solar Exalt striking from ambush can utterly defeat an opponent by striking at their vulnerable points. This Charm enhances it prerequisite. When activating Falling Icicle Strike, the character may opt to spend an additional mote and 1 willpower. In addition to the basic effects, the target must roll Stamina + Resistance vs. (the Exalt's Essence) or suffer an amputation/maiming effect of the Solar's choice for (Thrown x 5) ticks. This does not actually amputate or disable the selected part of the body; instead, the massive damage to that portion of the anatomy-- or the target's spine or brain-- make it useless for the duration.
