It is not in the nature of the Ebon Dragon to tell the truth. That and his long reputation lead everyone to believe he lies about well...everything. However to a master of deception like the Ebon Dragon even the most obvious fact can roll off his shadowy tongue as a lie. After purchasing this charm all statements the Infernal makes register as lies to charms and effects which detect lies. If another charm would contest this effect add the Infernal's Essence in successes to the contested roll. At Essence 3 the Infernal no longer suffers a penalty to rolls that use Charisma due to Witness to Darkness. At Essence 5 add double the Infernal's Essence to the contested roll.

In a time long ago the Ebon Dragon conspired to make the Unconquered Sun so that his light might give him more form and truer shadows. This charm harkens back to that act and changes the penalty for acting in sunlight. Acts taken out in the light or where sunlight can reach enjoy a bonus success on all rolls. However in places where the light of the Daystar can not reach, the underworld, or deep underground, the Fiend takes an external penalty of 2 to all actions. The burning light of Ligier provides no bonus and no penalty to the Fiend. Those who know this charm can't help but enjoy the radiance of certain Chosen of the Unconquered Sun who have Anima's that sometimes empower them in just the same way.
