The ward extends around the building for a distance equal to the bearer of the Brand's permanent Essence in yards. The true insidious nature of this stone is revealed when someone tries to penetrate this ward. Someone uninvited may only enter the territory if they pass a Conviction roll at a difficulty of of 1 plus their permanent Essence.

The Blood and Crypt Brand has five uses before its owner must wait a week for it to reform. Only ten wards may be active at any given time.
