The stone has a sharp appearance to one side, as if there was a flame expelling itself from the stone, and it has a slight blue flickering glow within its heart. When the holder touches a body that is dead, but still relatively fresh, they may feed upon it's essence as if it were blood. A bright blue flame consumes the body and enters into the user's face, them gaining one mote they normally would from it, but leaving the body as ashes. The oldest a body can be is the user's Permanent Essence in hours, as greater understanding of it allows them to absorb essence more tainted with death than before.<br />
