Harborhead is one of the great kingdoms of the [[Locations/South | South]]. It is the favored land of [[Ahlat]], the southern god of war and cattle, and has been a satrapy of the [[Realm]] for centuries. It is one of the lands where the [[UnconqueredSun | Unconquered Sun]] is still worshiped openly.

The ruler of Harborhead is titled the Leopard Seat, and he (or she) is guarded by the [[BridesOfAhlat | Brides of Ahlat]]. In times past, the Leopard Seat has ruled largely at the Empress' pleasure. The capital is the city of [[Kirighast]], on the coast.

Harborhead is a rich country, and its chief exports are slaves and jade. It has many other thriving industries, and is one of the only satraps that may trade freely with nations beyond the Realm.

Its neighbors are the Varangian City-States, to the west, and to the north is a shadowland. Cold House, the dwelling of the DeathLord Eye and Seven Despairs, is very near Harborhead.
