The Pilot tree has four branches. The main branch may be used with any form of vehicle, while the three subsidiary branches are usuable only with each of the three modes of transportation.

=== Main Branch ===

The Main Branch is made entirely of Charms from the 2e core rulebook. Its Charms apply to all vehicles.

Prerequisite Charms: Any Pilot Excellency
There are times when a vehicle's inferior ability to move comes into conflict with the Solar's desires. At such times, this Charm allows the Solar to take full advantage of her vehicle's speed. While this Charm is activated, add the Solar's Essence to the vehicle's Acceleration and Braking ratings. The vehicle may not increase its speed past its normal maximum.

Soul Of The Machine
Cost: 5 motes
Minimums: Pilot (Drive) 4, Essence 2
Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Combo-OK
Duration: One Scene
Prerequisite Charms: God-Spurred Wheels
As the Exalted progress in skill, they find that the machine becomes an extension of the flesh. The character does not need to Flurry in order to take Drive actions.

Easy Rider
Cost: 3 motes
Minimums: Pilot (Drive) 3, Essence 2
Type: Reflexive
Keywords: Combo-OK
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Any Pilot Excellency
Somehow, the character can coax turns and twists from her vehicle that should, by all rights, be impossible. The character adds her Essence to her vehicle's DV against a single attack.

Sun Shines Through Cracks
Cost: 8 motes, 1 Willpower
Minimums: Pilot (Drive) 5, Essence 3
Type: Simple
Keywords: Obvious, Combo-OK
Duration: One Scene
Prerequisite Charms: Soul Of The Machine, Easy Rider
The character's vehicle sparkles with light as it performs impossible feats, slipping around, over, and through obstacles in a moment. For the duration of the scene, the character adds her Essence in dice to all attempts to avoid collisions or obstacles. In addition, the vehicle may freely travel across walls, water, or even air, provided that it does not spend more than the character's Essence in ticks doing so; after that, it must touch down for at least 3 ticks or fall.
