=== Mela’s Waystones ===

In Realm Year 451, a Dynastic manse architect named Ragara Sylenia began mapping out smaller demenses in the Threshold, intending to cap them quickly and easily. In order to do so, and to remind inhabitants of what their taxes were paying for, she began the Waystone project. Sylenia gathered five Dragon-Blooded architects, one of each aspect, and each set to work designing small, relatively easily capped statues that could be used as manse focal points.

Sylenia’s contribution to the project were the Mela’s Waystones. Each Waystone is a statue, eight to ten feet tall, covering a Level 1 or 2 demense. The statue depicts Mela in her Dragon form, coiled around an altar to the Immaculate Dragons. Monks frequently use the waystones as stopping points along their routes, and most of them have withstood the test of time. Although Sylenia did not live to see the end of the project, dying of old age less than five years after it began, her students continued her work and there are still over two dozen Mela’s Waystones scattered about Creation.

Armoured (3 pts): The statues of Mela are phenomenally difficult to destroy. They have 14L/21B soak

Archive (2 pts): The statues of Mela are filled with the wisdom of the Immaculate Order, for those with the piety to seek it. Statues of Mela provide a specialty die for the specialties Immaculate Doctrines and Prayers.

Mela’s Sweet Whisper (1 pt): The statues of Mela can only gain insight into their visitors when they are praying or meditating. During those times, they may provide vague comfort, assist in specialties using their Archive, or act as tutors.

Well-Flavoured Aspect (1 pt): Anyone in contact with the statues who is air-aspected feels the joy and hope of the Immaculate Dragons in her soul. They gain +1 die to all actions while they remain in contact with the statue.

All of the Mela’s Waystones are fitted with a Gemstone of the Swift Traveller. This Level 2 Hearthstone increases Move rates by 2, and Dash and Jump rates by 3.
