This bird is smaller than a buteo and is more lightly built with a wingspan of 4 feet. It wings are narrow and more pointed designed for high speed flight rather than soaring. The hierofalcon is brown on its upperside with a speckled or stripped white underside. The beak is dark with yellow eyes. This bird hunts other birds almost exculsively and will either strike them from a very steep dive of broadside. This is the bird of choice for mortal falconers and is very popular throught its entire range. Hierofalcons dwell primarily in the North and South but are becoming more widespread with their exportation to various courts.</div>Grimjaws
