Shifty innkeepers, close-mouthed<br /> prostitutes, etc.<br /> &lt;b&gt;Special Effects :&lt;/b&gt; Shadowy figures seem to be watching you - or are they hiding in Nexus? Surely not - anyone can tell you categorically that no-one is hiding in Nexus.<br /> &lt;b&gt;Change in Dynamic :&lt;/b&gt; It's true - no-one is hiding in Nexus. Someone is hiding somewhere else, trying to<br /> bring the PCs to Nexus by spreading this weird rumour.<br /> &lt;b&gt;PC Encounter Goal :&lt;/b&gt; Work out what the hell is going on.<br /> &lt;b&gt;Emotional High :&lt;/b&gt; Working out what the hell is going on!<br /> &lt;b&gt;Alternate Victory :&lt;/b&gt; If the PCs ignore the hook completely, they've won.
