A mixed group of Solar Exalted, Dragon-Blooded and their mixed allies were able to defeat the Deathlord Mask of Winters and reclaim Thorns for the living.  Since then a decade has passed and the world has changed around them.

The Realm is now united under Mnemon but Tepet Ejava is far from out of the picture, a new era is dawning and not just for the Dragon-Blooded of the Realm.

=== Regent Misha (Fire Aspected Dragon Blood) ===

+

It is Misha who officially wields power over Thorns as its Regent, reluctant to take grander titles such as Autocrat or Shogun. She went to considerable lengths to remain neutral in the short-lived civil war, torn between her loyalty for her former House and that to her new people. 

+

She has now been initiated into Celestial Martial Arts and is learning the Solar Hero style Dane uses in self-defence.

=== Dane (Eclipse Caste Solar Exalted) ===

+

Dane remains at Misha’s side whenever possible, it was his choice that the Solar Exalted not reveal themselves to the people of Thorns but to rather subtlety alter their belief system so that in time they would be accepted.

He realises his Dragon-Blooded lover is struggling in her newfound position of power but he has faith as he watches from the shadows.

=== Adria (Heroic Mortal and devoted daughter) ===

+

Like her companions Adria’s power has gone from strength to strength, she was charged with creating a new state religion for Thorns that would counter the teachings of the Immaculate Order without allowing open heresy. Thus she founded the Golden Dragon movement, a name that is evocative of both Dragon-Blooded and Solar Exalted.

Adria’s greatest concern over the last few years is that she won’t live to see the new order the Golden Dragon brings forth and is looking for a more powerful method of life extension.

=== Varil Masumi (Wood Aspected Dragon-Blooded) ===

+

Masumi remains bitter and paranoid towards Lookshy, he is convinced the Seventh Legion is a threat to the existence of Thorns and often suggests that Misha show caution around his former allies. 

+

With the assistance of Calen and the Engineer he is improving the army of Thorns day by day hoping that it will put his paranoia at rest. His biggest fear however- is that he’s right.

=== The Engineer- (Alchemical Exalted Jade Caste) ===

+

Now starting to remember she is much more than a machine the Engineer continues her loyal service to Thorns as though it were Autochthonia.  Though she has grown fond of Varil Masumi and his allies she considers this allegiance secondary to the Great Maker’s will. She has learnt much of Creation's science and if needs be she will use it to destroy them.

=== Calen (Twilight Caste Solar Exalted) ===

Calen has turned to the Wyld in his quest to make Creation a better place for all, his companions don’t really share his dream of awakened essence for all people but their goals are theoretically the same, for now.

=== Janos Umbra (Night Caste Solar Exalted) ===

+

Janos has expanded into the Celestial circle of sorcery as his search for a power to repair the world continues. Demons of the second circle are often summoned to tell him more about their Yozi master. Some of whom he considers possible allies but in his heart he is very cautious of their words. Unknown to Regent Misha (who he doesn't think would understand). Thorns has benifited from minor pacts with these dark powers, most notably Neomah were given the task of creating hundreds of children that could some day obtain Dragon-Blooded exaltation.

=== Cathak Corin- (Dawn Caste Solar Exalted) === 

+

Corin was recently blessed with Solar Exaltation while lost in the Wyld after his brother’s expiation went horribly wrong as the Fair Folk attacked leaving only him alive. After a while he encountered a Chimera of all things that immediately befriended him as though they’d already met in another life. Corin seeks to protect Creation from the Wyld first and foremost having seen the threat of the Fair Folk first hand.

=== Gunnar Klepp- (Zenith Caste Solar Exalted) === 

+

Known to his tribe as the Wolf of Iron he is an ally of the Bull of the North and enemy of the Realm. He travelled to Thorns expecting to consider it an enemy to the Bull’s growing empire, instead he was pleasantly surprised to see Dragon-Blooded and Solar Exalted working together. Gunnar still wishes to bring down the Realm and make the Bull of the North Emperor of Creation.

=== The Scion of the Flesh - (Abyssal Exalted Moonshadow Caste) === 

+

Though far from glorious as an Abyssal Exalted, the Scion has thrown the ideology of Oblivion aside. She wants a world where the living and the dead can exist in harmony, a giant Shadowland without the Neverborn’s influence.

=== Yoshi- (Sidereal Chosen of Secrets) === 

+

Yoshi has made a few appearances to the players in the last decade, most notably to initiate Misha into Celestial Marital Arts. His reasons for doing this seem to indicate that he knows of a coming threat to Thorns and seemingly Misha herself.

=== The King of the Woods (forest spirit) === 

+

An insane Forest Spirit who lead a four day Siege of Thorns that was eventually broken by the Solar Exalted, he was mortally wounded in the counter attack and spoke of a great horror in the East before dying from his wounds.

=== The Prophet on the Hill === 

+

An unknown individual known only by his title, his face has never been seen and he has seemingly never entered Thorns but the Solars encountered him outside the city many days after the Forest Spirits attacked and suspect he is the one responsible for the attack.

=== Talla (Earth Aspected Dragon-Blooded) ===

+

Talla has settled well into Thorns, her informal training has made her a formidable scout and ranger. She has dreams to stop the Bull of the North from killing any more Dragon-Blooded but realises that for an Exalt she is still so very young.

=== Kalek (Air Aspected Dragon Blooded) === 

+

Kalek represents but a small handful of Outcaste Dragon-Blooded who were natives of Thorns before the Mask of Winters conquered the city. He spent the last few years in the Realm trying to convince any Dragon-Blooded of influence that something needed to be done.

=== Mnemon Rousa (Water Aspected Dragon Blooded) === 

+

Rousa is the envoy to the Realm and is unsurprisingly kept in the dark about a lot of the day-to-day politics. In truth Rousa is more of a spy than a diplomat because Mnemon doesn’t trust Misha at all.

=== Sahna (Earth Aspected Dragon Blooded) ===

+

Sahna was a former Dynast and apprentice of the scientist Kohl. She now hates the Circle and their allies for killing Kohl and plans to get revenge by creating a Dragon-Blooded army with the aid of an artefact that expectant mothers Dragon-Blooded children or kills them in the process.
