 Equipment 

 Description 

V’neef Redwood is a tall, lean and somewhat muscular 18 year old man, he has shoulder length brown hair and eyes. He is usually shy and quiet when around people that he does not know well, but when surrounded by friends his witty and engaging nature shines through. He is a bit of a loner, not mixing well with his peers, and as a result of his clumsy social skills rarely invited to the more swish parties. In fact aside from his wedding and his college graduation, Redwood hasn’t been invited to any serious parties since he was a second year student and insulted Cathak Timothy, a scale commander in one of House Cathak’s Legions, over a dance with Ledaal Inara. The insult ended with an Honour duel that Redwood lost.

Redwood generally wears rugged outdoor clothing, and has a variety of survival equipment that he keeps on or near him at all times; he has 2 suits for special occasions and of course his Naval Uniform. He is far more relaxed and at home when out somewhere in the wilderness – it doesn’t matter the terrain, pretty much the only climates that he has yet to experience are arctic and desert.

 History 

Redwoods history is surrounded in confusion and controversy, his memories of his earliest childhood are almost non-existent. Prior to the age of 7 he has only one memory – travelling by ship to the Realm from somewhere in the North, and then adopted by House V’neef. His only companion on the journey was an older woman whose name he does not know. During his time in the Academy of Bells, Redwood has discovered a number of interesting things which may or may not relate to his childhood. It began one evening after having a weekend pass from the college, 5th fang retired to the home of [[/CathakRae|Cathak Rae]] which was within the city of Arjuf. There Redwood bumped into the chief maid – Anna Richenko, who was absolutely convinced she had met the boy previously. Later that night after searching through her possessions; she found an old painting of herself with her then fiancée, and a young boy that looked suspiciously like Redwood. Following much questioning it emerged that Anna was a maid in the household of the Ledaal Devren family. The entire family – including mother, father, 2 children and all but 2 servants and a handful of legionnaires were killed in a terrible assault by barbarians about 1 weeks ride from Whitewall in the North. He is now following up on leads that have led him to believe that both sons survived, he thinks he has met the eldest brother and that he himself is the younger brother. more to come as this developes.

Are you using houserules for Specialties? - [[David.]]

*yes we are - I will be putting them up as soon as I can, I am just getting the hard content up for the moment and will be starting to fill in the blanks - like char histories etc fairly shortly. but basically a character can have any number of specialties but only have a max of 3 Specialty dice added to a skill roll eg Melee - 1H Sword 2 and Melee - Multiple Oponents 2, would still only give 3 bonus dice when fighting more than one enemy with a sword simultaneously.
