 Description 
Denara is a tall, slender, young woman with dark blue almost black hair and eyes. Her skin is the palest white colour with just a hint of a light shade of blue. She is a warm and Charismatic person, who does not usually make use of the impact her appearance has on the men around her. She is a little unsure of what her future has in store for her. She has always wanted to be a career Naval Officer, however as she has matured, experience has opened other doors to her, including that of the Immaculate Order and the Wyld Hunt.

 History 
Denara was the third child of four. Her eldest sister is called Inara, who was blessed by the dragons, giving her the most extraordinary beauty; however they chose not to exalt her and so she is now courting the hand of a dragon blood called Tepet Timothy, a junior officer in one of House Tepet’s Legions. Next came Zudaan, he also was not chosen by the dragons, and now works as a junior officer in his fathers fleet. Denara’s youngest sister Zafine has recently exalted as a water aspected dragon blooded at the tender age of 12, and determined to follow in her eldest sisters’ footsteps has just been accepted into the House of Bells. Denara’s father is a water aspect called Leeth, he holds the rank of Commodore and commands the Realm’s Southern inshore fleet, based in Arjuf (a separate entity from the Fire Fleet). The Lidaal family has control over the inshore fleets and makes a significant income in taxes from the merchant shipping. Denara’s mother Ansura, an air aspected dragon blooded was originally from the Ragara family, but agreed to take her husbands family name when they married.

One of Denara’s closest and oldest friends is Vorsorbi, a non dragon blooded member of House Memnon. He was an excellent sailor and tactician, and was promoted out of the ranks to the commissioned rank of Lieutenant. He was given command of a costal patrol vessel and affectionately became known as the captain. Whilst on a naval operation, long before Denara was born, Vorsorbi saved the life of a young Subbie called Leeth. The men became firm friends and when Vorsorbi was retired from the navy due to old age, Leeth offered him command of the fishing fleet of Arjuf. Denara grew up learning the ways of the sea from Vorsorbi and has come to love it almost as much as he does.
