Some victims are robbed of their ability to speak of a subject, but this is not a problem for a Lawgiver, so long as the target can remember. The Solar must touch his target—who must be willing—and spend 5 motes, at which point he views, in full detail, what the target remembers.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
If the target is unwilling, the Solar must first find a way to touch him, usually via a Martial Arts attack. Then the Solar makes a Charisma + Investigation roll with his Essence in automatic successes, vs the target’s DMDV. (This causes the Charm to gain the Compulsion keyword, and a valid target for any defenses against Compulsion effects)&amp;lt;Br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
If the target’s memory has been altered, the Solar notices immediately and can instantly tell if it was by sheer trauma, magic, etc. He may make a Wits + Investigation roll at difficulty 3 or the memory thief’s Essence, whichever is higher to piece together what really happened.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
