Lingering Roots Meditation comes into effect when a single source of damage would leave the Dragon-Blooded dying or worse. The charm immediately reduces the attack’s damage to leave them with a single dying health level and automatically stabilises their condition. <br><br />
Despite having cheated death, the Dragon-Blooded is still incapacitated for the remainder of the scene. Worse still, she is essentially helpless against further attacks without the support of her companions. <br />
This charm offers no defence against effects that instantly kill the target such as Soulbreaker Orbs. <br> <br />
