Any fool can hurl an insult or shout a insolent battlecry, but only one of the Host can so infuse his words with spite and scorn as to enflame more than just passions. Using this Charm, a Terrestrial can transform a stream of spiteful insults into gouts of burning flame. The character rolls his Socialize + Charisma to strike a target. The attack has only a range of 4 x the characters permanent Essence in feet, but anyone between the Terrestrial and the target is caught equally in the attack and must defend independently. The flames have a base damage of 1L per every mote spent upon the Charm. Additionally, those struck by the blast must succeed in a Temperance roll or be engulfed in flames for a number of turns equal to the Terrestrials permanent Essence, dealing damage as though the target were standing in a bonfire (Ex1 Core: pg 244) including rolls to resist the damage. The character cannot spend more motes on this Charm than his Socialize ability.
