The effect is a half-hearted attempt to transmute the target to wood, resulting in a misshapen mosaic of bark and flesh, moss and scabs, sap and blood. This charm is most often used to scare peasants or to temporarily disguise someone.<br /> This charm decreases the target's Appearance by 1 for every 2 motes spent and health level of bashing damage successfully inflicted. Appearance can be decreased to no lower than 1 by use of this charm.
